Wall Flower Basket

Description

This is designed to be a small wall basket of seasonal flowers. I have included two options for “attaching” the flowers.

1. The flowers could be sewn to the front of the basket so things could be put in the basket.
2. Styrofoam could be inserted in the basket and the flowers attached to strong wire or skewers to stick in the styrofoam.

Materials and Details

Worsted weight yarn: 200 yards total

Note: This is a great way to use up yarn ends. Grab a variety of yarns in your favorite or seasonal colors.

Sample Yarns: I used cotton yarn for the basket because I thought it looked more like a basket. You could use any worsted weight yarn.

Basket: Sugar N Cream Tan

Flowers: Lion Brand Mandala Ombre Tranquil

Crochet Hook: I (5.5mm)

Miscellaneous: yarn needle; Styrofoam and strong wire or wooden skewers (optional)

Gauge: not necessary for this project

Measurements: 7” wide x 8” tall (not including hanger)
