Waffle Stitch Potholders

This is a 5-pages digital pattern in English to make a waffle stitch potholder. The size is 8 x 8 inch / 20 x 20 cm.

These waffle stitch potholders work up very fast so they are ideal for a last minute gift! I made 2 potholders and interchanged the colors for potholder and border. You can use left over yarn for these potholders and work in strips, change color in a row 2.

Instructions are given in text, US crochet terms are used. Supplies:

1 ball Drops Muskat (100% cotton yarn) per potholder (50 gram = 109 yard / 100 meter) ( I used color 20 and color 53)

Crochet hook H-8 / 5 mm

Stitches used (US crochet terms): SL ST = slip stitch CH = chain SC = single crochet DC = double crochet FPDC = front post double crochet
