VERTIKAL Shawl

This design was inspired by clear lines, pure forms and minimalistic textures. Vertical lines in one color brioche create a special light-shadow play on the surface of the shawl. Garter stitch underlines that play and makes the design unusual comparing to a classic brioche design. The shawl is long and wide for an extra cozieness. Bold color block sections give space for own creativity and balance the minimalistic stitch pattern for a unique result. The shawl has a rectangular shape and it is worked flat from one end to the other. The design is made of vertical one color brioche stitch and garter stitch stripes. The combination of the stitch pattern makes this project very much fun to knit. The edges are knitted in garter stitch. I-Cord technique is used for the edge stitches.
