Garter stitch, stripes, short rows: Unruly adds its own voice to a familiar theme. The shawl is worked from the top down with stripes in three pretty colors. Two stripes widen towards one side of the shawl, followed by two that widen towards the other and so on, while with every color change the stripes grow. Unruly is easy to knit, fun and a perfectly good excuse to spend time deciding what three colors would work best together.
