Written especially for the Skeinz NZ Moody Hues Sockmatician Edition 4ply possum-blend yarn.
You will need 3mm & 4mm needles (straight or circular) for this piece which is worked in flat double-knitting. A sewing needle will also be needed. Some prior experience with double-knitting techniques is recommended. Sockmatician’s youtube channel has many helpful tutorials.
The scarf pictured is 120cm long and approx 25cm wide. A 180cm scarf can also be made by following the alternate length instructions. To make the 120cm length you will need 2 balls of each grey, plus about 10g of each rainbow colour. To make the 180cm length, you will need 3 balls of each grey, and approx 15g of each rainbow hue.
Other patterns in this series are a cowl (circle scarf) and a hat (beanie style).
