Two Way Stripe Beanie / Toque

A knitting pattern for a two way striped beanie / toque. With instructions for 9 sizes, from newborn to large adult.

The hat is knitted in DK (light worsted / 8 ply) yarn and can be knitted in a varity of yarns as long as the knitting tension required for the pattern is achieved. It is a perfect pattern for all seasons as the design works well in wool, cotton, acrylic and blended yarns.

A gender neutral two colour vertical stripe hat with a horizontal stripe ribbed trim. Knitted in the round on circular or a set of double pointed needles, with the ribbed trim being worked on 3.25 mm (UK10 - US3) needles and the main part of the hat being worked on 4 mm (UK8 - US6) needles. The main part of the hat is worked in a slip stitch vertical stripe with a knitting tension of 22 stitches and 26 rounds for a 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4") square.
