Twist Cowl

Inspired by the Twist Shawl, this easy yet elegant cowl starts with a provisional cast on. Twists are achieved by transferring stitches onto a double pointed needle and rotating. The loop is joined by grafting live stitches with the kitchener stitch. Edges are finished as you knit with a simple slip stitch edging.

This pattern can be knit one-sided (one skein of yarn) or two-sided (two skeins). Instructions include both options.

This pattern is flexible and can be worked with multiple yarn weights and needle sizes. The number of pattern repeats is also flexible to create a cowl of varying lengths. The pattern is written with row by row instructions.
