Tunisian Sampler Ruana

This warm and cozy wrap is made with four different blocks – each with its own Tunisian stitch pattern. Use three colors as shown in the model for a buffalo plaid effect, enjoy the texture on its own and work all in one color, or go a little crazy and use up scrap yarn from other projects and make each block a different color for a vibrant statement piece!

This ruana is made with Tunisian blocks that are slip stitched together. It originally appeared in Annie’s Signature Collections.

Sample shown was made using 2 skeins of cream and 3 skeins each of chocolate and hazel Premier Basix worsted-weight yarn. Sizes K/101/2/6.5mm and L/11/8mm Tunisian crochet hooks and a size K/101/2/6.5mm crochet hook required.

Finished size: 44" x 60" (including edging)
