Torvi Shawl

Crochet pattern for a large and wide triangular shawl worked topdown from the centre out. Row after row your shawl will become bigger and wider. The body is worked in a simple yet beautiful dense stitch pattern. The centre body section uses an interesting and tender openwork stitch pattern repeat. The shawl ends with a small textured border.

Measurements of the finished shawl are : 224cm/89in wide and 54cm/21,50in deep.

The size is very easily adjustable, by making more or less pattern row repeats of each (or all) of the three pattern sections. (this will affect the yardage needed ! )

The pattern has fully written instructions, 3 large crochet charts are included (one for each of the three pattern sections), as well as a schematic.

The shawl construction and size are perfect for a large yarn cake (1000 m of yarn).

Yarn : fingering weight yarn, 1000 m.

Sample made with : Hobbii Yarn Twister, 55 % cotton & 45 % acrylic, 250g/1000m.

Crochet hook : 3,5 mm & 4 mm.
