The Smock set consists of three patterns: Smock cardigan with hood, hat smock and mittens smock. The smock cardigan was Mormor's first cardigan and continues to be one of our most popular designs. The smock pattern creates an isolating layer which is warm and it has a bit of give to it when used. This means the child will fit this for longer than normally, as the cardigan is designed with extra length in the body and sleeves. The smock mittens are worked in the same yarn as the cardigan, but with double strands to keep the hands warm. The hat has double rib, so it offers extra heat on the ears and forehead. The smock set is really a warm set designed for extra cold weather. Enjoy the knitting!
