The five new patterns in this book work well whether you want to invest in mini skein sets or if you want to use up small amounts of yarn left over from other projects. Most of us have some oddments of 4ply (fingering) yarn that are just too nice not to use (sock knitters will identify with this problem in particular.) Most of the patterns also use a 100g skein too for extra stash busting powers (or yarn buying enabling powers as you prefer!)
