Birch Trees are one of my very favorite trees. There is something so exciting about their striking white and black color. Not only that, but they add such beauty to the Fall scene in Wisconsin. Birch Trees have been in my heart for as long as I can remember, so it was extremely exciting to figure out a way to bring them to life with yarn. I hope you love creating your own version of this blanket!
Crochet Pattern Details:
Pattern is best suited for the advanced beginners and beyond only because I highly suggest that you use the Magic Knot method for changing colors on your Birch trunks. This will leave you with zero ends to weave in. This method is super easy to use, so don't be scared to try it! YouTube is your friend.
Yarn: Fingering Weight yarn is used for this pattern, but you may use any weight. Just follow the suggested dimensions.
All yardage is listed in pattern.
Crochet Hook Size: G/4.5mm (if you use a heavier weight yarn I would move to a 5 or 5.5mm hook)
