This cosy jumper is knitted in warm wool and will appeal to children, with a row of cheeky hedgehogs scampering around the yoke. The body and sleeve parts have a texture to echo the hedgehog prickles. The jumpew has a neat, although not tight fit, giving it a vintage feel especially when paired with a skirt. It looks equally good on boys or girls. Instructions are for ages 1 to 8 years, 22 to 28 inches finished chest measuremebt.
The jumper is knitted in parts to the armholes and then joined for the yoke where it is knitted in rows. With a very minor decrease and neck adjustment given in the pattern, the yoke can be knitted in the round.
