My Textured Blocks Wrap is inspired by my love of architecture and the contrasting surfaces and textures that you find in modern buildings. The uneven blocks of simple textured stitches and subtle colour changes make for modern and versatile wrap that looks great worn loose around your shoulders or belted over a jacket to keep you warm on a cold winters day. Knitted using two strands of yarn in two colours, sometimes one strand of each, sometimes two strands of one colour, the different textured stitches are all simple combinations of knit and purl, making it a quick and simple knit.
The sample is shown in Rowan Creative Focus Worsted in shades Nickel and Pearl. Some suggested substitutes are shown below.
