“Tessa” is a traditional triangle shawl with a small Fair Isle pattern repeat. You cast on on the long side and work to the tip - that’s just for a psychologic effect. The falling number of stitches keeps you motivated. This shawl needs place for the pattern, so the decreases are made exclusively at the edges, in RS rows as well as in WS rows.
The sample was knit in hand-dyed yarn. A substitute is shown below.
