Tee Time

This was an interesting pattern to design and knit. The horizontal stripes and vertical cables create a pleasing design. This short sleeve tee looks great over a long sleeved tee shirt in cooler weather. Line Yarn from Sandnes Garn is a combination of soft cotton and cool linen. The texture is quite unique. Using circular needles, this short sleeved tee is knit in the round from the bottom hem to the underarms. The front and back are then separated and completed using straight needles. Additional stitches are cast on for a short sleeve. The shoulder shaping is done using a few short rows. When the shoulders have been seamed, stitches are picked up around the sleeve and a short cuff is made.
