It’s really fun to work up this beanie in the tapestry style of crochet. Tapestry crochet is a method where, when working a pattern in two or more colors, the unused color is carried along behind and inside the stitch in the color being worked so there is no stranding behind the work.
You’ll want to make several of these cute beanies for yourself as well as for gifts for Christmas, Hanukkah, Birthdays, and many other occasions.
The beanie measures about 9” from crown to brim. The head opening is designed to be stretchy, so one size fits most women and teens. The fit is snug, but not tight. The foam heads in the photos have no hair, so keep in mind the fit over hair will be closer to the head, like a cap.
