INFO A cowl can be a little work of art as well as a way to keep the neck warm. This cowl, ‘Syl,’ is named for the hand-dyer Sylvia (Wol met Verve), who dyed the yarn in the samples. Using two colors, or just one, you can knit your own work of art with a striking design. The cowl is easy adjustable.

The cowl’s tube shape is easy to make: you knit in the round, with only one color per round. To work the half-brioche stitch, you use the simple ‘knit one below’ method, for which the designer has a video tutorial. A fun knit for yourself or a perfect gift for someone else!
