SWAN knitting pattern by GEORGINA MANVELL

The Swan measures 27cm (10.5 in) from tip of bill to tail when completed in DK yarn. This is a single pattern although the picture shows Mr & Mrs Swan(same pattern)

This lovely pattern was designed by Georgina Manvell This pattern was first published in Home & Country magazine in Sept 1990 in an article called Animal Magic Country Almanack Knitted Animals. We have included a picture of the Swan featured in Home & Country magazine

We decided that the Swan pattern deserved a fresh look so we took a new picture in my garden. Don't you think they look lovely together. This is exactly the same pattern as featured in H&C but Georgina & myself have given it a new updated picture and lovely new format. Georgina & I( Suzannah Holwell) now work in partnership as designers and have joint copyright The Old Toy Knitting Shop
