A combination of lace patterns with a cable or 2 thrown in for interest. Upper edge is a variation of a basket weave to set it apart and the gentle arc is made by increasing/decreasing every 4th row. Mesh lace along the bottom and an optional lace diamond inset in the body complete the stitching.
Instructions are in charts only. Fingering weight yarn, 875 - 900 yds. I used 2 skeins of Painted Desert. Worked great, knit 1 skein and then reverse the shaping, no guess work. You will also need #4, 3.5 mm knitting needles, a cable needle and 4 markers.
Different weight yarns and needle can easily be substituted, but results may vary.
