Stroke Me Soother Twiddle Muff
A crochet twiddle muff designed to give warmth and comfort to cold hands, and sensory stimulation to anyone living with symptoms of Alzheimer's, Dementia, etc. to help to keep their hands occupied when they feel anxious or agitated.
I designed two patterns with some slight differences between them.
The larger one could also double up as a lap blanket as well as a really cosy hand and arm muff. The second one is smaller and designed just for hands and I added a number of rows of fur to the seam.
The yarn really makes this project The King Cole Yummy is velvet soft to the touch, and the Wendy Eider is just like stroking a soft kitten.
