These mittens were designed for sock yarn mini-skeins or left-overs as part of the fibery advent calendar by "Alte Künste". 5 colors blend together in a slip stitch pattern. Only one color is used at a time. Choose your colors according to the effect you would like – bright and contrasting colors result in striking mittens; similar colors make for a subdued effect. Why not try a gradient set?
Increases at thumb gusset and decreases at top are integrated into the design, leaving the slip-stitch pattern uninterrupted. You can choose between a one-colored shorter cuff or a two-colored longer cuff.
