Steph's Simple Cable Head Band

I came up with the deign as I wanted something quick to knit for my friend Steph who’s ears where getting cold! The design is suitable for beginners, knitted flat so you can make is as long as you wish, and introduces the use of a cable needle. The design is framed by strips of garter stitch to set off the twists with single knit stripes.  You can increase or decrease the depth by adding or removing a ‘twist’.
