Versatile crochet pattern for a cowl or scarf with an openworked stars stitch pattern.
Any yarn weight can be used, and you choose any hook size to go with your favourite yarn.
Choose 3 lovely colours and make this comfortable and trendy design.
You can just follow my pattern (written for a scarf in dk weight yarn and a cowl in aran weight yarn), it is fully written.
Or you can very easily adjust the size by changing the stitch number and the pattern repeats.
A chart is added as well, to explain the interesting stitch pattern.
Skill level : intermediate.
Info about the scarf and the cowl on the pictures : - scarf : made with Rico merino dk : 3 shades. 750 meters of yarn in total. Crochet hook 4 mm.
- cowl : made with Rico merino soft aran : 3 shades. 500 meters of yarn. Crochet hook 5 mm.
