Star Chunky Cape with Snood for kids 1-10 years

This easy to knit, throw-on poncho has a fun star repeat pattern on the front.  The front panel pattern is created following the star template below.  The poncho has a 1x1 broken rib border, knitted continuously at the sides of each panel to maintain the shape and to fasten at sides with buttons.  The snood is worked separately to be worn as a set or on its own and is accessorised with a fun pompom ties.
