The Taryn Beanie is named after a brave little girl I know. Thanks to the wonderful people of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the mercy of God, she went up against a lethal brain tumor and won! In honor of Taryn and other children like her, all proceeds from this pattern (every cent not needed for listing fees) are donated to St. Jude.
Transparency and integrity are so important! I can provide receipts of donations to St. Jude from pattern sales upon request (with personal information concealed). Please do not hesitate to ask for these if you would like to see them before making your purchase.
