Springtime Songbird Mosaic square

Originally I designed this square as a robin, but in the testing process, it was fun to see other bird colors the testers came up with, such as other robin variations, a blue bird, and even an oriel! I realized I should just call this one Springtime Songbirds as there are so many beautiful ones out there & what better way to bring in the Spring!

This pattern uses the overlay mosaic method combined with some mid row color changes & is the same size as all my other squares which are approx. 13” when using medium weight yarn & a 5mm hook - perfect for joining together into a larger project, or use individually for tote bags, pillows, place mats, etc!
