Socks Sapphire feathers

Skill Level: Intermediate; includes basic top-down sock construction, textured stitches, and chart reading Available in two sizes: child and adult.  Finished measurements are adjustable by lengthening or shortening the leg and foot. Materials:  To make socks in two sizes: Child size (48 stitches cast on) or an Adult size (72 stitches cast on) use 80 – 100 grams of 420 yards (400 m)/ 100 grams yarn and 1 Set of US 0 – 1½ (2 – 2.5 mm) DPNs (or size needed to obtain gauge of 28 stitches & 41 rows per 4 inches (10 cm) in Stockinette stitch).  Alternatively, you can use 100 grams of 270 yards (250 m) / 100 grams yarn and 1 Set of US 2½ (3 mm) DPNs (or size needed to obtain gauge of 22 stitches & 32 rows per 4 inches (10 cm) in Stockinette stitch) to knit adult size socks using Child size (48 stitches cast on) charts.  Stitch markers (optional).  Tapestry needle.
