Hello and welcome to my pattern – The “Snuggle Me Sweet” – Granny Stitch - sweater. It’s so soft and squishy. Feels so snuggly to wear. It’s an oversized design with long sleeves. In sizes – XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL. I’ve created this pattern using 2 yarns held together. A really soft Baby Yarn with a very fine/fluffy yarn using a 6:00mm/J-10. But you could use a light worsted/#3/dk/8 ply on its own as 1 strand. Adjust gauge/hook size etc accordingly – and same for any other yarn substitute weights you may want to use. The stitch used is a ‘Half Double Crochet’. Called the “Granny Stitch’ pattern, by working 3 hdc stitches into the same space - for both the body and sleeves. All you need to do is make 2 pieces of the body first. Assemble. Then work the sleeves into the Body next – the Ribbing last.
