Materials Worsted weight yarn in white, black, and orange 5.5mm hook 3.5mm hook Yarn needle Fibrefill or yarn scraps to stuff
Abbreviations Ch = Chain Hdc = Half double crochet Hk = Hook Invhdcdec = Invisible half double crochet decrease (instructions included) Sc = Single crochet Sl St = Slip stitch St = Stitch
Finished Measurements NOTE: Circumference is measured around outside of hat, height is measured from end of last increase round to edge of hat.
0-3 months: 14 inch circumference, height 3 inches 3-6 months: 15.5 inch circumference, height 3.75 inches 6-12 months: 17 inch circumference, height 4 inches Toddler – Small Child: 18.5 inch circumference, height 4.5 inchesOlder Child – Small Teen: 20 inch circumference, height 4.75 inches Large Teen - Adult: 21.5 inch circumference, height 5.25 inches
