This beautifully textured blanket is sure to become a nursery favourite. The combination of increases and decreases (on every row) make it a good project for a more experience knitter. It’s worked all in one piece, so there’s no sewing involved, and the pattern will create a deep wave at the cast on edge and a more subtle wave at the cast off. The unisex design is perfect for a baby shower gift. I used Sirdar Hayfield Bonus Chunky, an easy care acrylic yarn. Any brand should be suitable as the tension isn’t crucial, but please check the yardage carefully.
