This poncho pattern is worked sideways, which makes it incredibly easy to adjust in length as well as circumference. You can make this poncho in such a way to fit your body precisely. The pattern gives you options for sizes XS to 5X. But don’t let that keep you from working out your own size.
Yarn: A #4 medium yarn (Aran/ Worsted weight) in one main colour and three contrasting colours.
For sizes XS (S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X) you will need 520 (590, 660, 730, 800, 870, 940, 1010, 1080) meters (570 (645, 725, 800, 875, 955, 1030, 1105, 1185) yards) of main colour yarn. All sizes need approximately 150 meters (165 yards) of each contrasting colour.
The example here is size XL and used 12 balls of Pura Lana black (100% wool) as MC and one skein each of Scheepjes Luca (70% acryl, 30% wool), colours 07, 08 and 11 as CC.
