This simple raglan-sleeve sweater features bands of colorwork thistles around the body and sleeves. The boat-neck is trimmed with a contrast color, and the sweater itself has a trim, simple silhouette. The sweater is knit in the round from the hem upwards to the underarms. The sleeves are then knit in the round from the cuffs up, and joined to the body. The remainder of the sweater is worked in the round, with raglan decreases to shape the upper torso. Sleeve length and body length may be adjusted for a custom fit.
The colorwork band at the body hem provides waistline shaping. The gauge over the colorwork section is 22 sts = 4", so do be sure to double-check your gauge over both the plain and colowork sections to assure a good fit.
The sweater is worked in Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light. I used Eggplant (42105) for the main color, with Orchid (4267), Moonshadow (4209) and Green Bean (42103) for the colorwork. You'll need 1-2 skeins of each of the contrast colors, depending on
