A lovely pattern for any new baby girl and a great introduction to top down knitting too. This pattern is mainly garter stitch and is knit using a slub boucle yarn for extra texture and interest. It can then be further embellished with a little embroidery - all you need is 100g of double knitting weight yarn, 4mm needles, embroidery thread and 1 button. The design is knit flat for the body and then the sleeves are knit in the round and best of all, no seaming required!
