The mitts have two different textures, garter and stockinette stitch, which come together in a bolt.
The pattern has written instructions only.
The design is inspired by Black Bolt, (most of the time) King of the Inhumans, from Marvel Comics. His costume features very distinct bolts on black ground.
Size: Women S, M, L (6, 7, 8 inches / 15, 18, 20 cm hand circumference). Measured around widest part of hand!
Needles: 3.5mm (US 4) circular needles or DPN
Yarn: 125 meters (137 yards) yarn in DK weight, shown in 1 skein Wetterhoff Silvia in black (959)
Difficulty: working in the round, basic decreases.
