Welcome spring with nice colours, lots of smiles and Shily the Lion! It is a beginner-level pattern with all instructions to create a lion plus to create an easy and beautiful cross-stitch design on him.
I’ve used Gazzal Organic Baby Cotton (100% Cotton = 50g – 115m/125yds) in colours Yellow (420) and Terracotta (438). For a cross-stitch design, I’ve used DMC Stranded Cotton in the next colours: 3854 for sun + 3772 for birds and face.
You can use any dk yarn you prefer however please check the gauge before crocheting.
Gauge: 22sts/24 rows = 10cm/4in
