School Teacher Tea Cosy

Reminising of my childhood is what inspired me to design a School Teacher Tea Cosy knitting pattern. I remember school teachers being nice and friendly and that they wore pretty clothes with frills, lace and floral patterns. So my teacher is wearing a lemon coloured dress edged with white and covered in pink daisy like flowers.

The school teacher has an apple in one hand and a book in the other. Her hair is a simple style and it's kept out of the way with a hair slide. She is carrying a big bag. I imagine all school teachers to have big bags so that they can take the work books home to mark them. Behind her ear she has a trusty pencil to scribble notes in the pupils book.

When I was a child in one class we had a class pet, so I have given my teacher tea cosy an escapee class pet. He's scampering behind her. Its a little hamster.
