This basket is crocheted Bulky yarn , Nylon 100% (same as Yarn Bee-Scrub-ology),

colorful nylon fibers give a sturdy texture and unique, sparkly look.

You can use any Bulky yarn ,T-shirt yarn or 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held together.
