Yarn 1 skein of MALABRIGO Rios: 100% Merino, 210 yards / 100 grams. Yarn substitutes: MADELINETOSH Vintage, MADELINETOSH Pashmina Worsted, MADELINETOSH 80/10/10 Worsted MCN.
Needles 3.50 mm / US #4 circular needle (at least 60 cm / 24" long) or dpns, 4.50 mm / US #7 circular needle (at least 60 cm / 24" long) and dpns, or appropriate size to get gauge.
Other Stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving.
Gauge 18 sts and 24 rows in 10 cm / 4" in St st worked in the round with needle 4.50 mm / US #7. 23 sts and 24 rows in 10 cm / 4" in cable pattern worked in the round with needle 4.50 mm / US #7.
