Rusko means a golden brownish color in Finnish. The word is used when talking about sunset - golden hour, “iltarusko”. The Rusko Cardigan is worked from the top down, making the length easily adjustable. The lace stitch pattern is easy to memorize after knitting it for a while, so you don’t have to refer to the chart frequently. The construction is interesting, yet quite simple.

MATERIALS: YARN: Jalovilla Vuona (100 % Finnish wool 50 g / 224 yds / 205 m). You need approx.: 4 (5, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8, 9) skeins. The yarn is rustic Finnish wool, Tukuwool fingering is equivalent. You can also use sport weight yarn.
