Dami of Magpie Fibers and I will both donate 20% of the proceeds from all Rob Roy yarn and pattern sales from now until 11/24 to Women of Tomorrow, an organization that works in inner city public schools to get at risk teenage girls to college, through a program focused on mentoring and scholarship opportunities.

Rob Roy is a satisfying cable knit - dense, wonderful yarn in gorgeous colors, paired with some beautifully meandering cables. It's my favorite kind of project, and I love how these lines just swirl around the head.
You can choose to wear the hat snug on the head and turn the brim up or you can wear it nice and slouchy. I recommend getting two skeins of yarn, so you can have both - and put a pom pom of the contrasting color on top of each!
The sample was made with Magpie Fibers Domestic Worsted. A suggested substitute yarn is shown below.
