Rippling Arctic is a simple cowl crocheted in the round. The main stitch pattern only uses two of the most basic crochet stitches: single crochet and chains. The Tunisian crochet ribbing is worked around each opening of the cowl with a regular crochet hook (no special Tunisian hook required).
This pattern has been designed specifically for the variegated yarns with short color repeats. Combining such yarn with a neutral color yarn hides the spotty nature of the variegated yarn and showcases its beautiful colors.
The size of the cowl can be adjusted by using thinner/thicker yarn or making a shorter/longer base row and working fewer/more row repeats.
The pattern assumes basic familiarity with Tunisian crochet, specifically how each row is worked as two separate passes and how to work Tss and Tps.
