This Scandi inspired stocking is worked in the round on double pointed needles from the top down. It features a simple rib cuff, colour work leg and foot, a shaped toe and an afterthought heel which is created at the end by picking up stitches from scrap yarn. The Reindeer motifs are worked from colour charts using the Fair Isle method - weaving in or twisting long floats on the inside. Techniques include casting on and working in the round, knit and purl stitches, Fair Isle colour work, increases and decreases, picking up stitches and grafting (Kitchener stitch). Circumference measures 33cm/13in, length from top of cuff to tip of toe measures 49.5cm/19 1/2in. Also included is a Mini Christmas Jumper pattern - ideal for any left overs!
