Twisting columns of cables extend from a classic 2x2 rib. There are rounds you can repeat (single rows within the pattern) if you want to sneak in extra length. For example, work rounds 26 another time or two, add a round below the twist on round 24 and above the twist on round 28. These are just a few examples of your possibilities.
Because of the ribbing the relaxed circumference of this hat is very small, measuring in at barely 13”. However, as you can see from the photos, it will easily stretch. It is shown on a model with a 21” head circumference and could easily stretch further.
