Reed is a top-down, crescent shaped shawlette, with 2 sts garter edge. The sample is made from organic cotton, soft yarn which stays the same after blocking. It is casual shawl, warm on your shoulders in summer nights and lovely around your neck when winter strikes.
The exact gauge is not important in this pattern. More important is that you will work the size that you want. You can alter the width&depth of the shawl by continuing the pattern extra repeats. NOTE! The sample has been made from exact 3 skeins. If you have different gauge, prepare with enough yarn.
