Hello ….Thankyou for taking the time to read about this pattern - the NEW IMPROVED - April 2023 - STASH BUSTER GRANNY/Rainbow Petals CARDIGAN for sizes XS/S/M/L/XL/2XL/3XL/4XL/5XL This garment is worked from the ‘top down/Raglan’ style, creating a Yoke - then separating for the sleeves creating the body, to then work the ‘Granny Stitch’ pattern.
I’ve changed the beginning chain to be same 51 chain stitches for all the sizes [not different chain stitch lengths as before] -Added a breakdown of the solid and coloured yarns + a total of whole cardigan. More photos. Step by step instructions…..Hdc stitches. Vertical Ribbing. Granny Stitch patterns used.
It is a loose fitting cardigan
YARN - 8 ply/DK/3/Light Worsted – Cotton blend – you could also use 10ply/Aran if you go down a size [or keep same size for a super oversize] - for tighter fit - go down a size or use a smaller hook. There are no limits to what you can do.
