At The Cable & Lace Co., we feel that an evening wrap is a mandatory piece of clothing for anyone’s wardrobe. With that in mind, we have designed Quirindi, a beautiful and elegant wrap for all your evening needs. We have named it after a country town in NSW, Australia, where Catherine goes when a night on the town is needed!
Quirindi is of a right angled triangular shape. We have used yarns with different weights to create a textured and interesting look - lace weight (with 2 strands held together), fingering and sports weights. You can use one weight or a combination of these weights. A perfect design for diving into your stash and using those gorgeous left over bits that you could not bear to throw away!
The pattern uses an interesting array of stitches and techniques. Garter st, twisted sts, diamond design, moss st, stocking st, 2 wrap knots, Tulle st – these will keep you interested right until bind off.
