What better way to use some left-over yarns than to knit up mitt/mittens! They can be used as gifts: a small token of appreciation to that special friend or a loved one. Small projects that can be finished quickly and that take little yarn can be very rewarding - so look through your knitting stash or indulge yourself at your favorite knitting shop and try out some of the newer yarns. Mitts take even less yarn than scarfs or cowls. Remember to choose light/neutral colors to show off the pattern.
