What’s this: This is the Quatre 4 in 1 cowl. It was my 1st design for Design Wars.
Why should I make this: I love to create pieces that go with other pieces (yes, I’m a crazy kit lady), or that can be used in many different ways. With just 1 ball of each of three colours, you get Quatre: a reversible, transformable hat/cowl to crochet. Make one side wild and the other classic, and you can go all fall and winter with just this one piece. This is 4 patterns in 1!
When will this get the most use: Whenever it gets chilly!
Who is this for: Choose the right colours and this can be for anyone, of any age! Sized 11” to 22”.
Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate - you’ll need to be comfortable with crochet, shaping & colour changing. You will 300g of DK weight yarn (100g ea of 3 colours) (used here: Anne Geddes by Red Heart Yarns) & a 4 mm hook. Other notions: pompom maker, a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
