Puppy Dog Baby Hat

The cute Puppy Dog Hat has a ribbed brim and a reverse stocking stitch body with a stocking stitch face and crown. The nose is added using duplicate stitch, the eyes are beads or buttons and the ears are knit separately in garter stitch and sewn on upon completion. The hat is knit flat on two needles, with a seam at the back, using DK yarn.  The yarn I used was from my stash, however I would suggest Rowan Super Fine Merino dk in Pebble and Bark.  This hat would make a lovely set with my Puppy Dog Baby Booties pattern.
